It’s lovely with grilled chicken…

Kale salad is popping up on menus everywhere. Here at Michael’s New York, the robust, dark, crinkly green makes a beautiful, nutritious stage for a fresh take on the classic Caesar salad.  The dressing is rich, lemony, and perfectly seasoned. Breadcrumbs add perfect buttery crunch. And executive chef Kyung Up Lim whips up a fresh gremolata of lemon zest, Parmesan, chives, thyme, and parsley to highlight the vivid flavor of the leaves while harmonizing perfectly with the dressing. Try the salad on its own as a starter. Or order it with the addition of chicken breast, shrimp, or even slices of grilled hanger steak to enjoy as a light but completely satisfying main-course salad.
