Pear Cake

Love the plating!

At the tasting we all went gaga for this pear cake created by our lovely pastry chef Diane.  The cake was golden brown, sweet and crunchy on the edges, soft and almost gooey at the core.  And the pears, oh the pears!  Sweet, flavorful, fresh off the tree flavor!  A beautiful scoop of vanilla bean ice cream plopped on top of the warm cake right before serving, sets this dessert over the top.  Enjoy!
