Hawaiian Walu with Mussels

This is dinner with style, at once elegant and casual.

It’s seafood celebration time at Michael’s Santa Monica! This dish from Executive Chef John-Carlos Kuramoto is an ode to some of our favorites from the ocean. Hawaiian walu swims among mussels in a sea of saffron broth. Chorizo, fennel, cavalo nero, and garlic croutons intermingle with the flavorful essence. But that’s not all: The fish is also anointed with a Parmigiano-Reggiano aioli and fresh chopped chives garnish. Absolutely divine!
