Ahi tuna tartare is the perfect way to start your meal at Michael’s Santa Monica. Executive chef John-Carlos Kuramoto and his team neatly dice a pristine fresh fillet of ahi and form it into a disc atop a fresh avocado puree. Sharing the plate is a vivid salad of julienned Spanish piquillo peppers, combined with earthy Marcona almonds and wisps of nori seaweed.  Share this with friends—if, that is, you can bring yourself to give up even one bite of this delicious, refreshing plate.
