Heath Bar-Inspired Dessert

In the kitchen, waiting to be served to one of our guests.

This dessert is so freshly made it hasn’t even left the kitchen yet!  The classic Heath Bar candy treat, with its sweet toffee flavor and delightful chocolate coating, was our inspiration, and then the pastry chefs at Michael’s Santa Monica riffed creatively on those flavors. The result: two layers of toffee ice cream stacked with chocolate cookies and then drizzled with a crême anglaise and orange reduction, for an upscale, decidely adult take on this popular candy bar.
