Heirloom tomatoes from the farmers’ market just down the block from Michael’s Santa Monica and the superb burrata from the L.A. area’s Gioia Cheese Company are an absolute match made in summer heaven. Talk about fresh, seasonal, and local! The flavors meld so perfectly and complement each other so well that you really don’t need a lot to bring out the natural sweetness of the sun-ripened tomatoes and the delectable richness of the cream-filled fresh mozzarella. We simply garnish with extra-virgin olive oil, aged balsamic, fresh basil, and a delicate sprinkle of sea salt. Do not miss this special while the tomatoes are this incredible!
