Steak and Eggs!

August 22, 2011

Breakfast of champions, Michael's style.

Do you want a breakfast to remember, a breakfast for those special mornings? Look no further than our 28-day dry-aged New York steak and eggs. We fry up a organic egg and place it on top of a gorgeous, cooked-the-way-you-want-it New York steak from DeBragga and Spitler. Roasted vine tomato and a delightfully palate-cleansing radish salad accompany the star attraction, and make it taste even more delicious.

Dinner at Michael’s last night was a memorable experience. First, I was very impressed with the professionalism of our servers. Our waiter’s posture, body language, eye contact and knowledge of the menu showed that he really cared about making us feel special and important. He also kept an eye on his team to make sure everything was being taken care of. Secondly, the wine list very cleverly made available on an iPad, listed wines from all around the world; I believe it consisted of 23 pages. Noticing our hesitation concerning the wine, our waiter and manager made several excellent suggestions without our asking. Thirdly, although the inside of Michael’s is not trendy looking I felt very comfortable and relaxed and experienced a sense of nostalgia; days gone by. The art work on the walls is however trendy and very beautiful. Lastly but most importantly all of our food choices were superb. My favorite appetizers were the melon with prosciutto and shaved parmesan cheese and the beets with yogart and granola. The entrees; branzino with forbidden black rice and the halibut with a butter/wine sauce were excellent as well. We ended our culinary experience with a plate of delicious little cookies. Thank you!!
