Moist, sweet, tender, rich, and absolutely delicious, tres leches cake is one of Mexico’s most beloved desserts. We take this classic and give it the royal treatment that you’ve come to expect from desserts at Michael’s New York. Before it leaves the kitchen, our gorgeously golden individual-portion tres leches is topped with freshly whipped meringue that executive pastry chef Natalie Reyes artfully caramelizes with a kitchen blowtorch. She also garnishes the plate with a delightful sweet salsa made of strawberries, lime, mango, and fresh mint, along with the perfect quenelle-shaped scoop of fresh strawberry sorbet.
