Hanger steak salad is a colorful explosion of flavors and textures. Like some of the best main course salads that have come along since the invention of the Cobb, this specialty from the kitchen of Michael’s New York is a definite example of a “more is more” philosophy. We pack the plate with juicy slices of grilled hanger steak, farmers’ market baby carrots, mild young shallots, grilled shiitake mushrooms, and baby romaine leaves. Then, we dress it with a sesame seed-flecked soy dressing and garnish with Thai basil. It’s a mouthwatering presentation you’ll want to order again and again.
