Strudel heaven!

Both familiar and comforting, this variation on a classic strudel from Michael’s New York shines with the high quality of its ingredients and the perfection and subtlety of technique with which it is made. The vanilla bean ice cream is just sweet enough to let the fresh cream and Tahitian vanilla bean flavors shine. The pastry is flaky and buttery and filled with a delightful combination of cinnamon-spiced apples and sweet-tart cherries, juicy and oozing with flavor. We serve a slice of the strudel and a scoop of the ice cream with a little cinnamon sauce and a delicate dusting of powdered sugar.
