Grilled Wild Striped Bass

August 12, 2010

Floating in a red sea of tomato essence.

Talk about pretty as a picture: Our impeccable fillet of wild striped bass floats here in a sea of heirloom tomato water flavored with basil and beautiful droplets of our exquisite extra-virgin olive oil from Italy. We grill the fish simply, giving it a perfectly charred crust and a moist, tender, flaky interior. The fresh fish’s flavor is so delicate that we barely have to season the fillet before we place it on the hot grill. To complement the delicacy of the fish and the sweetness of the tomato, we add a citrus salad and tender micro greens to garnish. Looks, tastes and smells just like summer!

I love the blog because I like looking at pictures without having to read a lot….a pic says a thousand words! The only one I didn’t care for was today’s…it seems like a lot of liquid and oil for that fish…just my opinion. Otherwise, I love everything, specially the desserts! Keep up the good work!
