Wild Strawberry Cheesecake

How incredibly gorgeous is this? Just imagine how beautiful the flavors are!

Sometimes a seductively sleek presentation is exactly what we want. This beautiful, totally modern, dare we say Art Deco seasonal dessert from Michael’s New York tastes even better than it looks. Inspired by the early summer’s bounty of little, incredibly fragrant and flavorful wild strawberries (what the French call fraises des bois, strawberries of the woods), this creamy, dreamy, super-smooth, subtly sweet cheesecake is refreshing and satisfying. On the plate, a quenelle of wild strawberry sorbet perches atop a pistachio macaroon. The plate is finished with perfect drops of pistachio jus.
