Now that's a fresh take on Michael's for lunch!

We are all about fresh takes on lunch, and this kalbi-marinated hanger steak fits the bill. With a tender, juicy beef fillet and an exciting Korean-influenced flavor profile, it’s definitely not your average midday meal. Chef Kyung Up Lim grills the meat after bathing it in the traditional Korean marinade (also sometimes written in English as galbi). Then, after letting the steak rest so its sizzling juices can settle back into the meat’s fibers, he slices it into perfect medallions. A delicate salad of baby lettuces and an edamame puree accompany the steak and round out a perfectly satisfying lunch lunch.
