Grilled Romaine Caesar

Pretty, isn’t it?

We’ve been lovingly serving our guests Caesar salads since our door opened, and they always adore them. Caesar salads are perennial staples on our menu in Santa Monica and in New York.  Our lunch and dinner crowds can’t get enough of them, so we are always trying to keep it fresh and interesting. For this interpretation, our Santa Monica executive chef John-Carlos Kuramoto quickly throws the beautiful romaine hearts on an open flame for that fabulous, smokey char that only grilling can produce. When dressed with our time-tested, absolutely perfected dressing, this salad becomes a harmony of smokey, salty, fresh flavors. Beautiful anchovy fillets and freshly baked brioche croutons add the final, classic Caesar touches.
