Roasted Peach Napoleon
August 22, 2012
We think this seasonal dessert from the kitchen of Michael’s New York is one of the most variations on a classic ever inspired by the summer sun. We gently roast fresh Hudson Valley peaches until their natural sweetness is intensified, their juices concentrated. Chunks of the superb fruit top our version of the renowned French puff pastry, its creamy filling scented with orange blossoms. As if that weren’t enough, we add a scoop of divine, subtly flavored basil sorbet. If you want to treat yourself to something fresh and exciting, this is definitely the dessert to order.
